A new challenge for the H24EVO

This January 28, 2025 marks another crucial milestone for MissionH24 and its latest prototype, the H24EVO

Since 2018 and the launch of the program in collaboration between the Automobile Club de l'Ouest and H24Project, the deployment of hydrogen in competition has been evident. After introducing gaseous hydrogen to the track, taking part in Endurance races, refueling with a dedicated mobile H2 system, sharing its research with several institutions, MissionH24 is exploring a new direction: liquid hydrogen. This type of storage is more suited to the demands of competition. The H24EVO will prove it.

At Hyvolution Paris, in Hall 4 of the Parc des Expos, the MissionH24 stand attracted many visitors shortly after midday on January 28th. Around the H24EVO, a hydrogen prototype, specialists in this energy carrier, motorsport players, media, institutional representatives, researchers... Pierre Fillon, President of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest and Co-Chairman of MissionH24, Jean-Michel Bouresche, CEO of H24Project and Co-Chairman of MissionH24, Bassel Aslan, Technical Director of MissionH24, and Nicolas Aubourg, Head of Performance and Chassis Research and Development for the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, shared their experience and objectives in terms of energy transition via hydrogen with the assembled audience.

Alongside the booth representing a racing box, with the H24EVO as its centerpiece, an area dedicated to the fun, educational discovery of hydrogen allows everyone to test their knowledge. A small DiscoverHY, a fuel cell-powered racing car, allows visitors to test the hydrogen competition while performing water electrolysis using a combination of bicycles, dynamo and electrolyzer. All this is testimony to the efforts of AdvancedH2Valley, the hydrogen deployment consortium to which the ACO belongs.
About MissionH24
MissionH24, a collaboration between the Automobile Club de l'Ouest and H24Project, is involved in the creation of an H2 prototype class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and in FIA WEC. Launched in 2018 with the LMPH2G, a laboratory car, the program then developed the H24, the first H2 racing prototype to have evolved to this level of competition and finished all its races in 2022. With the H24EVO, a new era begins: pure performance! Find out more at https://missionh24.fr
